Santai Qu

I work in birational geometry. I am a member of the Birational Geometry Group.

I am currently an assistant professor at Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA).

I was a research assistant professor at the Institute of Geometry and Physics, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC-IGP) from Nov/2023 to May/2026.

I was a postdoc at Yau Mathematical Sciences Center, Tsinghua University (Tsinghua-YMSC) from Oct/2020 to Oct/2023 under the supervision of Prof. Caucher Birkar.

I received my Ph.D. in 2020 from Stony Brook University (SUNY-SBU) under the supervision of Prof. Jason Starr (my Math Genealogy).

I obtained my B.Sc. in 2014 from the School of the Gifted Young, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC-SGY).
